Designed by draping the fabric directly onto the body, Occhii’s Draped Tunic in reclaimed wool shawls from Russia embodies the spirit of the line. These multi-patterned shawls were rejected during their standardized production process due to accidental pigment stains, fabric folds, pulls, etc. Such features make them unique, and, by reframing the approach to what is considered beautiful, Occhii gives new life to these fabrics.
Engineered from 4 different screen-printed designs of the shawls, the Draped Tunic in Multi Blue is one of its kind, as no two tunics are cut with identical “flaws” or exact same print placement. Each piece is individually laid out and cut at the Occhii studio and finished locally in New York’s Garment District. As every piece can be treated as a collector’s item, each garment comes with an individually numbered tag, handwritten by designer.
